Tamara Ćirić was born in Niš on March 16th, 1980. She had lived and worked in the USA for 7 years prior to returning to Niš where she currently resides. The sphere of her scientific interest lies in researching Serbian migrations, life and work of the Serbs in diaspora, as well as reasons for the migration.

- Action plan for development of City of Niš 2015-2020 – a member of groups in charge of attracting investments
- The original creator of web portal Virtual Registry Office for Diaspora, which was launched in 2014 – the system made it possible for diaspora to order birth, marriage, and citizenship certificates online by paying with their credit cards.
- The original creator of a learning system Serbian as Native Language that has been realized in 5 cycles starting from 2014. More than 250 students from diaspora have attended these classes.
